Assistance Maintenance Team Member - Dallas

  • The Maintenance Supervisor / Lead Technician is a position that works cooperatively with management and junior technicians to repair and maintain the equipment, mechanical systems, buildings, and facilities in various locations.
  • Time management – Utilize time in a manner that promotes completion of required repairs and maintenance in an efficient manner while minimizing road time between locations.
  • Organization – Ensure that all technicians maintain an organized workspace; including, the maintenance shop and yard, work vehicle, and areas of facilities where work is being performed. Maintain a current list of required repairs and maintenance requirements for each location serviced.
  • Communication – Communicate regularly with management about the current status of pending repairs and maintenance. Complete technician logs and other paperwork as required by your employer. Maintain a working mobile phone upon which you can be contacted.
  • Availability – Be available to work at the days and times necessary to complete required work. Note that the position requires technicians to be on call for emergency work. Over time may be required at the sole discretion of CRI, Inc. management.
  • Quality of work – Ensure that all work is completed in a thorough and complete manner, which reduces callbacks on equipment and mechanical systems and restores surfaces to original, like new appearance on building and facilities related repairs.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

  • Effectively troubleshoot, repair, and install low voltage control systems, line voltage equipment wiring and control systems up to 208 volt (1 phase and 3 phase), and line voltage building wiring and control systems.
  • Read and effectively use wiring diagrams for troubleshooting and installation.
  • Repair and install water, sewage, and gas line systems in building and equipment applications.
  • Complete building maintenance and installations involving walls, flooring, ceiling, roofing, and exterior building and property surfaces.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain commercial heating, refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
  • Due to the wide variety of tasks involved in a maintenance technician’s position, it is impossible to cover every task that will be required in the position; however, the above list covers the largest areas of responsibility.
  • Complete all work according to applicable local, state and national codes
